Timbrus de Autor is a unique assemblage, created by oenologist Manuel Ortiz, produced in limited edition of 5 200 bottles. The wine is a personal message of the winemaker to the true lovers of premium wines. Each year we create a new authors assemblage and recommend storing it at wine collections, because it is not only a beautiful story, but also a worth item for true collectors.
Terroir – Purcari, Republica Moldova.
Grapes – Merlot 54%, Fetească Neagră 17%, Saperavi 17%, Malbec 12%. Manually harvested.
Ageing – In oak barrels not less than 18 months and 6 months in bottle.
Color – Noble dark ruby, deep.
Aroma – Well balanced, with notes of plums and cherries, wild berries enriched with oak shades.
Aftertaste – Long, soft and well-structered.
Pairing – Grilled meat dishes, spicy roasted lamb and Asian cuisine.
Serving – + 16 … + 18 °С, after 1 hour decantation
